Job Role
We are seeking an experienced Service Technician to install, commission, service, and repair agricultural and livestock equipment. This is a hands-on role for a self-starter and proactive problem solver who is comfortable working independently, troubleshooting issues in the field, and learning new technologies and systems.
The Service Technician will work closely with our service team to inspect equipment, diagnose issues, identify required parts, complete repairs and installations, and provide customers with clear communication about the work being performed.

Key Responsibilities
- Commission, service, and troubleshoot livestock housing and agricultural systems
- Install, configure, and troubleshoot control, regulation, and network systems
- Inspect, maintain, and upgrade electrical control cabinets, cloud-based systems, and network technology
- Diagnose and perform mechanical and electrical repairs
- Identify parts and materials required to complete service and repair work
- Train customers on the proper operation, use, and maintenance of their systems
- Communicate with customers regarding equipment issues, recommended repairs, and completed work
- Prepare accurate service and repair reports
- Maintain service tools, equipment, vehicles, and work areas
- Follow company and industry safety procedures and practices
Requirements
- Strong maintenance and repair skills, including routine servicing and complex troubleshooting of agricultural, industrial, or mechanical equipment
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
- Ability to read and interpret technical manuals, schematics, wiring diagrams, and service documentation
- Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving abilities
- Willingness and ability to learn recent equipment, technologies, and systems
- Experience with electrical systems, controls, PLCs, automation, or networking is an asset
- Valid driver's license and ability to travel for field service calls
- Comfortable working in outdoor and farm environments
- Ability to lift, handle, and work around equipment while following appropriate safety procedures
- Strong communication and customer service skills
Pay: $30.00-$50.00 per hour Expected hours: 40.0 per week
