The role of a Service Technician I directly supports the company's mission by ensuring the safe and efficient operation of wind turbine generators, which are integral to producing 100% renewable energy.

The Service

Technician I is responsible for performing turbine maintenance and operational tasks in accordance with high safety standards. The role collaborates closely with the operational and back‑office teams to ensure a high level of availability in the wind farm, supporting strong service performance for our customers and contributing to the company’s future growth. Perform preventive maintenance and repairs on wind turbines and related equipment.

Troubleshoot mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic systems to support reliable turbine performance. Complete maintenance reports, service documentation, and work orders accurately. Support 24/7 wind farm operations, including on-call, overtime, and rotating shift coverage.

Assist with equipment inspections, root cause analysis, and system upgrades. Work closely with site teams to ensure safe, efficient, and high-quality operations. High school diploma or equivalent combination of technical training, experience, and safety certifications. ~ Wind, electrical, mechanical, or technical education/certification is an asset. ~Ability to read and interpret technical documentation, including electrical and hydraulic schematics. ~ Willingness to work outdoors in varying weather conditions and confined spaces. ~ Ability to travel for training and support at other sites as needed.



~ Ability to work in Canada without sponsorship and travel to the U.S. for onboarding and training. ~ Ensure compliance with all safety regulations and company policies.

Speak and understand English fluently to effectively communicate safety and job‑related information, follow safety instructions, and collaborate with English‑speaking supervisors and team members. The pay for this role is non‑exempt at $35 - $40 CAD hourly with up to a 5% bonus.
