Location: Veneto Tennis Club, located in Vaughan, Ontario

Position: Full-Time Year Round

We are seeking an enthusiastic and motivated Tennis Professional to join our growing coaching team at a large, year-round indoor tennis facility.

This position is ideal for a tennis professional who already has experience teaching tennis and leading group lessons and is looking for an chance to continue growing as a coach. The successful candidate should be comfortable working with both juniors and adults and bring energy, professionalism, and strong communication skills to the court.

Key Responsibilities

- Deliver engaging and well-organized group lessons for junior and adult players, primarily at the beginner and intermediate levels.
- Teach private and semi-private lessons based on experience and member demand.
- Assist with junior development programs, adult clinics, camps, leagues, tournaments, and special events.
- Create a positive, energetic, and inclusive environment that encourages player development and enjoyment of the game.
- Effectively manage groups of players with different ages, abilities, and learning styles.
- Communicate professionally with players, parents, members, fellow coaches, and club management.
- Assist with player evaluations and placement into appropriate programs.
- Support club programming and promotions throughout the year.
- Maintain a safe and professional on-court setting.

Qualifications

- TPA Club Pro 1 certification or higher preferred.
- Previous experience teaching tennis, particularly leading group lessons for juniors and/or adults.
- Comfortable working independently with groups of players.




- Strong knowledge of tennis fundamentals and an ability to communicate them in a simple and engaging manner.
- Enthusiastic about working with children and helping players develop their skills.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
- Professional, dependable, punctual, and member-focused.
- Willingness to learn, receive feedback, and continue developing as a tennis professional.
- Ability to work collaboratively as part of a coaching team.
- Availability to work a flexible schedule that may include days, evenings, and weekends.
