We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Physical Therapist Assistant to join our healthcare team. Responsibilities
- Assist licensed physical therapists in evaluating patient needs and developing treatment plans.
- Implement therapeutic interventions such as exercises, manual therapy, and modalities under supervision.
- Monitor patient progress and document responses to treatment accurately and timely.
- Educate patients and their families on exercises, mobility techniques, and injury prevention strategies.
- Maintain a clean, safe, and organized treatment environment following all safety protocols.
- Collaborate with healthcare team members to coordinate patient care effectively.
- Adhere to all regulatory standards and facility policies related to patient privacy and safety.
Experience
- Prior experience working in out patient clinics is preferred but not required.
- Knowledge of medical terminology relevant to physical therapy practices is required. .
- Certification as a Physical Therapist Assistant from an accredited program is preferred but not required. .
- Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to motivate and support patients through their rehabilitation journey.
