Transport Operator - Element Technical Services ELEMENT TECHNICAL SERVICES is currently hiring the following position:

Job Title: Air Can Operator / Transport Driver -$2,000 SIGNING BONUS

:

- Drive and operate the tractor and pneumatic trailer to load, unload, ordisperse materials as required by the Element logistics dispatch team. Follow all applicable DOT rules and regulations and hours of service. Ability to haul over-dimensional heavy loads would be an asset.
- Knowledge of tools and parts required on the unit for inventory andmaintenance purposes
- Know where the sight glasses, check points and fill points areincluding grease points
- Complete understanding of Air Can procedures
- Fall protection requirement including pre-use inspection, proper fitand use the fall arrest harness and equipment
- Completion of loading tickets
- Loading the unit adhering to allowable weights per axle
- Train and mentor less experienced co-workers as required
- Perform pre and post trip inspections on equipment operated, ensuringsafety and roadworthiness
- Attend pre-job safety meetings
- Comply with applicable legislation including safe operation, driver'shours of service, occupational health and safety, transportation of dangerousgoods, fatigue management
- Maneuver equipment following appropriate hand signals.
- Maintain driver logs of working hours and of vehicle service and repairstatus.




- Maintains effective communication with co-workers

Qualifications& Skills:

- Knowledge ofindustry and prior experience an asset
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
- Knowledge of truck and equipment safety
- Knowledge of equipment maintenance
- Strong oral and written communication abilities
- High level of personal integrity
- Strong work ethic
- 14 days on followed by 7 days off (14/7) rotation schedule
- Valid Class 1 driver license with satisfactory driving abstract
