About The Role

We are looking for a friendly, organized, and customer-focused Travel Agent to join our team in Ottawa, ON. This is a great opportunity for someone who enjoys travel, helping clients plan memorable experiences, and coordinating detailed itineraries.

You will work directly with clients to understand their travel needs, recommend suitable options, arrange bookings, and provide attentive support before and during their trips.

Responsibilities

- Consult with clients to understand travel preferences, budgets, and requirements
- Plan and arrange flights, hotels, transportation, tours, and travel packages
- Research destinations, travel options, and current travel requirements
- Prepare customized itineraries and travel recommendations
- Make and manage travel reservations and bookings
- Communicate with airlines, hotels, tour operators, and travel suppliers
- Provide clients with accurate travel information and documentation
- Handle booking changes, cancellations, and customer questions
- Maintain accurate client and reservation records
- Follow up with clients to ensure a positive travel experience
- Stay informed about destinations, travel products, and industry updates

Qualifications

- Previous experience in travel, tourism,



customer service, sales, or reservations is an asset
- Robust communication and customer service skills
- Excellent organization and attention to detail
- Comfortable using computers, email, booking platforms, and online research tools
- Strong problem-solving and time-management skills
- Ability to manage multiple reservations and priorities
- Professional, friendly, and service-oriented approach
- Knowledge of popular travel destinations is an asset
