Job Summary
We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Unlicensed Mechanic to join our dynamic automotive team. In this role, you will assist with vehicle repairs, maintenance, and assembly tasks under the supervision of licensed technicians. Responsibilities
- Assist with routine vehicle maintenance and repairs, including oil changes, tire rotations, and brake inspections
- Use hand tools and power tools to perform mechanical tasks accurately and efficiently
- Follow schematics and technical manuals to aid in vehicle assembly and troubleshooting
- Support licensed mechanics with heavy lifting and parts installation during repair procedures
- Conduct inspections to identify mechanical issues and ensure safety standards are met
- Maintain a clean and organized workspace, adhering to safety protocols at all times
- Assist with vehicle diagnostics using basic mechanical knowledge and technical diagrams
Skills
- Prior dealership or automotive repair experience is highly desirable
- Strong mechanical knowledge with the ability to interpret schematics and technical instructions
- Proficiency in using hand tools, power tools, and welding equipment
- Ability to perform heavy lifting safely and efficiently in a busy workshop environment
- Experience with vehicle assembly, maintenance, and repair processes
- Excellent customer service skills when interacting with clients or team members
- Knowledge of automotive schematics, maintenance procedures, and basic troubleshooting techniques
