We are seeking a friendly and organized Veterinary Receptionist to join our veterinary team. This vital role involves providing excellent customer service, managing appointment scheduling, and supporting the daily operations of our clinic. The ideal candidate will have strong communication skills, a compassionate attitude, and experience in a veterinary or medical setting.

Duties
- Greet clients and their pets warmly upon arrival and departure
- Schedule, confirm, and reschedule appointments efficiently
- Answer phone calls, respond to client inquiries, and provide information about services
- Maintain accurate patient records and update client information in the database
- Process payments and handle billing transactions accurately
- Assist with laboratory procedures as needed, utilizing laboratory experience to support diagnostic processes
- Manage inventory of office supplies and ensure the reception area is tidy and welcoming
- Support veterinary staff with administrative tasks to ensure smooth clinic operations
- Communicate effectively with clients regarding treatment plans, follow-up care, and clinic policies
Qualifications
- Previous experience in a veterinary or medical reception role is preferred
- Laboratory experience is highly desirable to assist with diagnostic procedures and client communication
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills with a compassionate approach toward clients and animals
- Strong organizational skills with attention to detail
- Ability to multitask efficiently in a quick-paced environment
- Proficiency in using computer software for scheduling and record keeping
- Ability to handle stressful situations calmly and professionally
- High school diploma or equivalent required; additional certification or training in veterinary assisting is a plus
