The Opportunity

We are looking for a Video & Creative Content Specialist to join our Marketing team on a 12-month contract covering a maternity leave, with the possibility of extension.

This is a video-first role with one clear purpose: showing property management companies the value of our products. You will own video for the Condo Control family of brands from concept to publish: product demos, feature walkthroughs, customer stories from management companies already using the platform, and short-form clips that make the value obvious in under a minute. You will also run our social channels and handle day-to-day graphic design.

You will work closely with marketing, sales and customer experience to turn ideas into content that shows property management companies how our software takes the chaos out of their day, lightens their workload and makes them look good to the boards and residents they serve.

If you are a hands-on creator who can shoot, edit, animate and design, and who loves making a product's value obvious to the people who buy it, we want to speak with you.

This is a full-time, 12-month fixed-term contract.

Standard hours: 8:30 am - 5:00 pm (EST)

Hybrid role based in Toronto: two days a week in our office at 2 Carlton Street are required, with additional days as needed for filming.

What You'll Be Doing

Video is the heart of this role and where you will spend the largest share of your time. The rest is split between social media and graphic design. The common thread is showing property management companies the value of our products, whether that is a 45-second feature clip, a customer story or a one-pager for sales. To achieve this, the role focuses on the following key responsibilities:

Video

- Plan and edit video end-to-end: scripting and storyboarding, filming (in-office, remote recordings and screen capture), editing, motion graphics, captions, thumbnails and publishing.
- Produce a steady cadence of short-form video for LinkedIn, YouTube, Instagram and Facebook that shows property management companies what our products do for them: feature highlights, before-and-after workflows, time-saving tips and customer wins.
- Create product demo and explainer videos that show property management companies how our software reduces the chaos, workload and cost of running their communities.
- Capture and edit customer stories from property management companies already using our products, focused on the results they have seen, coordinating with our Customer Success team and the customers themselves.
- Turn every product release and feature update into a short video that makes the value clear, whether the viewer is evaluating us, onboarding, or an existing customer who has not tried the feature yet.
- Repurpose long-form content such as webinars, events and recorded sessions into clips for social, email and the web.
- Design motion graphics and animated explainers that bring the brand and the product to life. We do not use stock photography, so you will lean on motion, product UI, illustration and real people.
- Arm our sales with video: demo clips they can send to prospects, feature walkthroughs for new customers, and adoption content that gets existing customers using more of the product.
- Own our YouTube presence, including channel organization, titles, descriptions, thumbnails and performance tracking, and help build and maintain a simple in-office recording setup.

Social media

- Own the social content calendar across LinkedIn, Facebook, Instagram and X, planning,

creating and scheduling platform-native content for each brand, aimed at property management companies and the people who run them.
- Write clear, on-brand captions, scripts and short-form copy that lead with the benefit, not the feature.
- Monitor comments and messages, engage with our community and loop in other teams when a response needs them.
- Track performance, report on what is working and use the data (and emerging formats and trends) to shape what we make next.

Graphic design

- Design graphics for digital and print: social posts, web and landing page assets, email graphics, sales collateral (one-pagers, case studies and pitch decks that make the value of our products easy to see), and event and trade show materials.
- Build and maintain templates (PowerPoint, Canva, Figma) so sales, customer experience and other teams can create on-brand materials themselves.
- Keep the brand consistent across all four brands (Condo Control, Property Control, HOA Central and HOA Sites), each with its own colour palette and logo system.
- Prepare and optimize assets for our websites and digital ads, and keep our shared asset library organized so work can be picked up seamlessly.

Required Skills and Experience

- 3+ years of experience in a video production, multimedia design or content creation role (in-house marketing or agency; B2B SaaS a plus).
- A portfolio or demo reel demonstrating strong video work: filming, editing, motion graphics and sound. We will ask for a link in your application.
- The ability to learn a software product inside and out and turn its features into benefits a business buyer cares about.
- Advanced skills in Adobe Premiere Pro and After Effects (or equivalent tools such as DaVinci Resolve), including clean screen-capture product demos.
- Solid graphic design fundamentals (typography, layout, colour and working within a brand system), with proficiency in Adobe Illustrator, Photoshop and InDesign and experience with Figma and Canva.
- Hands-on experience with cameras, lighting and audio for small-crew shoots and remote recordings.
- Ability to direct non-professional on-camera talent, such as colleagues and customers, with warmth and patience.
- Working knowledge of LinkedIn, Instagram, Facebook, X and YouTube, their native formats and best practices, and social scheduling and analytics tools.
- Strong writing skills for captions, scripts and short-form copy, with exceptional attention to detail.
- Highly organized and self-directed, with a proven ability to manage many projects at once with quick turnarounds and without letting quality slip.
- A collaborative, positive attitude and the ability to take feedback and iterate quickly.
- Comfortable navigating web-based platforms and learning new tools and technologies.

Nice to Have

- Experience marketing software to business buyers (B2B SaaS), or knowledge of the property management or community association space.
- 2D animation or illustration skills (character or UI animation, Lottie).
- Experience producing webinars or livestreams.
- Familiarity with AI-assisted creative tools for video,

design or ideation.
- Experience with paid social creative and ad specs.
- Basic familiarity with WordPress, HTML/CSS or email marketing platforms.
- Experience working with freelancers or external production partners.
