Job Title: Warehouse Technician II

- Job Type: Contract (6 months initially, with potential extension up to 1–2 years based on business needs and performance)
- Pay Rate: $19-$21 per hour
- Location: Burlington, ON – Onsite
- Schedule: Monday–Friday, 8:00 AM–3:00 PM (work volume may vary; some weeks may only have 2 days of work)
- Requirements: Safety shoes/boots and Walkie license

Seeking Warehouse Technicians to support the setup, testing, troubleshooting, maintenance, and shipment of Caper smart shopping carts and related hardware. This role combines warehouse operations with hands-on hardware, electrical, software, and technical troubleshooting.

Key Responsibilities

- Unpack, inspect, and perform inbound/outbound quality checks on carts and hardware.
- Configure cart hardware and software based on retailer requirements.
- Pack and prepare carts/hardware for shipment.
- Troubleshoot hardware, electrical components, Wi-Fi, routers, chargers, and other cart accessories.
- Open hardware modules to repair or replace electrical components as needed.
- Ensure carts meet Weights & Measures requirements.
- Track hardware and materials using serial numbers and internal ticketing systems.
- Document issues and provide feedback to engineering/software teams.
- Use tools such as Slack, Google Sheets, and email for communication and documentation.
- Support training of warehouse and field technicians.




- Operate powered stackers, pallet jacks, and battery-operated power tools.

Must-Have Qualifications

- Experience with Wi-Fi setup/configuration and router wiring.
- Hands-on experience troubleshooting electrical/electronic hardware.
- Ability to operate pallet jacks/powered stackers and common power tools.
- Ability to lift up to 40 kg (88 lbs) and work in a warehouse environment.
- Strong attention to detail, organization, and ability to follow technical procedures.
- Comfortable learning and working with recent hardware and software technologies.

Nice to Have

- Experience supporting POS hardware/software, embedded scales, or other technical devices.
- Experience working with wiring, electronic circuits, computers, printers, copiers, or similar equipment.
- Experience with Weights & Measures requirements.
