Garden Gnomes YYC is actively hiring a reliable Winter Maintenance Associate to join our snow removal team and manage an established winter route. Work can start immediately with our fall cleanups & final construction projects before the snow flies.

Professional winter maintenance requires dependability and physical stamina. You will be driving a company truck and managing the snow and ice control for a designated list of properties. No heavy equipment or snow plowing experience is required, but you must be confident with winter driving.

Pay Structure

We know winter weather is unpredictable and we want our crew taken care of. That is why we offer a Guaranteed Pay for 60 hours per 2-week pay period.

- If it doesn't snow and you work less than 60 hours, you still get paid your full 60 hours of pay.
- End-of-season overage payout: All hours worked over the seasonal baseline are tallied and paid out as a lump sum at the end of the winter contract.

Snow events are MANDATORY Because we guarantee your income, we expect 100% reliability in return. The 60-hour guarantee is strictly tied to your attendance.

Once there is an accumulation of snow, you are required to be "on call" 7 days a week, including holidays and weekends.
