Frank Cremasco Cabinets Inc. is looking for a motivated, dependable, and detail-oriented Wood Finisher / Painter to join our manufacturing team.

The successful candidate will be responsible for preparing and finishing custom cabinetry, millwork, and wood components to a high standard. This position requires attention to detail, consistency, and pride in producing quality work.

Responsibilities

- Prepare wood and MDF surfaces for finishing, including sanding, cleaning, filling, and inspecting surfaces
- Apply stains, paints, primers, sealers, clear coats, and other finishing products
- Operate spray equipment safely and effectively to achieve consistent, high-quality finishes
- Mix and prepare paints, stains, and finishing materials according to specifications
- Match colours and maintain consistency between components and projects
- Inspect finished pieces for colour, sheen, coverage, surface quality, and imperfections
- Perform touch-ups and corrections when required
- Properly handle and move cabinet doors, panels, millwork, and other finished components
- Maintain spray equipment, tools, and finishing areas in clean working condition
- Follow established production procedures and quality standards
- Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work setting
- Work closely with cabinetmakers, CNC/machining staff, assemblers, and other team members to keep projects moving efficiently
- Follow all workplace health and safety procedures





Qualifications
- Previous experience in wood finishing, cabinet finishing, painting, or a similar manufacturing environment is preferred
- Experience with spray finishing equipment is a strong asset
- Knowledge of stains, paints, primers, sealers, and clear finishes
- Ability to properly prepare wood and MDF surfaces for finishing
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality
- Ability to identify and correct finishing defects
- Comfortable using hand tools, power tools, and sanding equipment
- Ability to accurately measure and mix finishing materials
- Good organizational and time-management skills
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a production team
- Dependable, punctual, and able to work in a fast-paced manufacturing environment
