Hello future caregiver! We are in search of a caring nanny to look after our two girls, ages one and four. Our older daughter spends half the day at her nearby preschool so you would mostly be looking after our 1 year old daughter.

Location: Home in South Fairview (near 16th & Oak)

Schedule: Mondays: 8:30 am - 12:30 pm, Tuesdays, Wednesdays, Thursdays: 8:30 am – 4:30 pm, Fridays: 8:30 am – 12:30 pm (32 hrs/week)

(Open to considering 40 hrs/wk for the right candidate)
Duration: Minimum 1.5 year contract

Salary Range: $27 - $30 / hr (depending on experience)

About our family:
We are a kind and conscientious family who enjoys spending quality time together mingling in our community. Our preschooler is smart, passionate, energetic and loves getting out to the park to socialize with her friends. Our toddler is happy, strong, and explorative.

Mom and Dad are often popping in and out of the home during the day so our caregiver needs to be totally comfortable integrating with our family.

Our ideal nanny would be:

- Kind and engaging (being loving and present with our children is the most important things to us!)




- Able to remain calm and leverage high EQ when communicating boundaries with the children
- Able to gracefully mediate any conflict or disagreement that may arise between siblings
- Excellent in their communication skills, supporting our children's language acquisition
- Creative, engaging in play that nurtures the children’s mental, emotional, and physical development
- Eager to get outside every day for fun local outings
- Able to drop off and pick up our older child at her nearby preschool (close walking distance)
- Able to help with light child-related housekeeping and meal prep
- Reliable, organized, and punctual

Some French speaking ability and/or previous childhood education training would be a bonus!
