Job Summary The Town of Lampman is now accepting applications for the full-time position of Public Works/Recreation Working Foreman.

Duties include, but are not limited to:

Oversight of the Public Works Department, Utilities Systems which includes water and sewer maintenance, and Recreation Facilities

Supervising and coordinating work for employees, managing day to day crew operation for the town

Operating and maintaining equipment

Lawn care maintenance duties such as mowing and edging, street and sidewalk maintenance, equipment maintenance.

Recreation Duties include oversight of Rink, Pool, Campground and Ball Diamond Start up, Maintenance, daily checks and shut down of facilities with the assistance of the staff; as well as any other duties assigned by the Administrator or Council.

Applicant must be:

Mechanically inclined, well organized and be able to delegate duties

Be able to lift over 50lbs

Must be in possession of a valid Class 5 Drivers License and be able to provide a current drivers abstract as well as a current Criminal Record check





Proof of a valid driver’s license and drivers abstract must be provided with resume

Pass a Drug and Alcohol Test

Must have good communication and record keeping skills, be self-motivated and be able to work unsupervised

Qualifications and Requirements include:

Experience in machinery operation and maintenance

Water and Wastewater Treatment and Collection Class I or ability to obtain

Valid First Aid/CPR, H2S, Confined Space, Ground Disturbance or any other Safety Certification is a valuable asset, power mobile equipment, pool, refrigeration or icemaking courses or willing to obtain The Town of Lampman offers several advantages including a pension plan, group benefits plan, and a competitive salary range.
