Part-Time Nanny & Mother’s Helper

Monday–Friday | 1:00 p.m. – 5:30 p.m. (22.5 hours/week)

Job Duties

Household Support (1:00 p.m. – 3:30 p.m.)

- Prepare a healthy family dinner to be ready by 5:30 p.m.
- Complete, fold, and put away family laundry.
- Tidy the kitchen, children’s areas, and main living spaces.
- Load and unload the dishwasher as needed.
- Keep children’s toys and play areas organized.
- Help maintain an organized home between our weekly professional cleaning visits.

Childcare (3:30 p.m. – 5:30 p.m.)

- Walk to pick up our children from school (a 9-year-old girl and a 4-year-old boy). The walk is an easy 10–15 minutes through Westdale.
- Supervise the children at a nearby park after school.
- Walk the children home safely.
- Plan fun, engaging, age-appropriate activities such as crafts, educational games, reading, baking, outdoor play, and imaginative play.
- Encourage learning, creativity, confidence, and independence in a positive environment.
- prepare dinner ready by 5:30 p.m.
- Communicate any significant updates about the children’s day before the end of your shift.

We’re looking for someone who is much more than a babysitter - you’ll become an important part of our family’s daily routine.

The ideal candidate is:

- Experienced caring for young children, including an energetic 4-year-old boy with a big imagination.
- Trustworthy, honest, kind, and dependable.




- Proactive and self-motivated - you notice what needs to be done without being asked.
- Creative, with lots of ideas for educational activities, crafts, outdoor adventures, and the occasional dance party!
- A confident home cook who can prepare simple, healthy family meals.
- Organized and tidy, taking pride in leaving the home neat at the end of each day.
- Responsible, reliable, and looking for a long-term position.
- Able to provide excellent references.

Please Note

- Unfortunately, it is not possible to bring your own child(ren) to work.
- References are required and will be contacted.
- Applicants must already be legally eligible to work in Canada. We are unable to provide sponsorship.
- We have weekly professional cleaners, so this role involves light household upkeep and organization, not deep cleaning.

Compensation & Benefits

- Approximately 22.5 hours per week (Monday–Friday, 1:00 p.m. – 5:30 p.m.).
- Competitive hourly wage based on experience.
