Jim Keay Ford Lincoln is looking for an experienced, driven Body Shop Manager to lead our Fix Auto collision repair operation.
This is an opportunity for a strong automotive professional who knows how to run a productive, profitable body shop while delivering an excellent customer experience. We’re looking for someone who can lead a team, manage workflow, maintain high repair standards, and take ownership of the department’s performance.
Position Summary
As Body Shop Manager, you will oversee the day-to-day operation of the collision center, including technicians, estimators, administrative staff, workflow, customer service, insurer relationships, quality control, and financial performance.
You will be responsible for creating an environment where quality work gets completed efficiently, customers are kept informed, and employees have the direction and support they need to succeed.

Job Type: Full-time; Permanent
Schedule: Monday – Friday; 8:00 am to 5:00 pm
Salary: $70,000 – $80,000 per year plus incentives (commensurate with experience)
Bonus: Tied to agreed-upon departmental objective and results
Status: The posting is for an upcoming vacancy

What You’ll Do
· Lead and manage the daily operations of the body shop
· Recruit, coach, develop, and retain a high-performing team
· Schedule and manage workflow to maximize productivity and cycle-time performance
· Monitor work in progress and ensure repairs are completed accurately and on schedule
· Maintain high standards for repair quality, safety, and customer satisfaction
· Oversee estimating, supplements, parts coordination, and repair planning
· Maintain productive relationships with insurance companies, suppliers, and other business partners
· Handle escalated customer concerns professionally and promptly
· Monitor department financial performance, including sales, gross profit, labor productivity, expenses, and overall profitability
· Identify opportunities to improve processes, efficiency, capacity, and customer experience
· Ensure the department follows dealership policies, manufacturer requirements, health and safety standards, and applicable regulations
· Work closely with dealership leadership and other departments to achieve overall business objectives
What You Bring
· Previous management or leadership experience in an automotive collision/body shop environment
· Strong knowledge of collision repair processes, estimating, repair planning, and insurance procedures
· Proven ability to lead and motivate technicians and support staff
· Strong organizational and workflow-management skills
· A solid understanding of body shop financials and the key drivers of profitability
· Excellent communication and customer-service skills
· The ability to make decisions, solve problems, and take ownership of results
· Experience with collision estimating and management software
· A solid commitment to quality, safety, integrity, and customer satisfaction
· A valid Ontario driver's license

· Full time work, approximately 40 hours per week
