This position requires a proactive individual who is adept at managing multiple tasks, is highly organized and is committed to fostering a welcoming experience for new hires. The position also provides support including preparing reports and correspondence for a variety of programs and initiatives, such as recruitment, compliance and events.This job posting is for an existing vacancy.What You’ll be Doing:Provide a positive onboarding experience for new hiresRoutinely process background checks, including gathering documents, providing clear and qualified updates to candidates and hiring managers, and adhering to deadlines and company policiesCoordinate the onboarding process, including but not limited to booking training sessions, conducting new hire orientation sessions and collecting and submitting paperwork for payrollProvide recruitment support for any stage in the recruitment cycle from posting vacancies, conducting video interviews,



conducting in-person interviews to preparing offer lettersAdminister and audit new hire compliance training such as Accessibility and Respect at Work Policies through our online system for the staff and new hiresManage the Administrative Summer Student programSchedule and record exit interviewsSubject Matter Expert for onboarding process through the HCM systemWrite, maintain, and support a variety of reports or queries using appropriate reporting tools, as well as assist in the development of standard reports as requiredSupport the annual performance review process using HR systems and toolsComplete multiple analytic spreadsheets including but not limited to Onboarding Checklists and HR DashboardLead HR events, such as Take Your Kid to Work Day and Administrative Summer Student SocialSupport various HR projects and provide administrative support to the Talent teamRespond to ad hoc requests internally and externallyPosition Requirements:Education and ExperienceThe position requires a post-secondary education in Human Resources Management or a related business discipline with at least one to two years of related administrative experience. Experience in a professional services environment would be an asset. An equivalent combination of education, training and experience is acceptable.Knowledge and SkillsExceptional organizational skills and keen attention to detail with the ability to multi-task and prioritizeStrong customer service orientation and interpersonal skills, with a welcoming,



professional mannerEffective communication and active listening skillsA team-oriented contributor who values cooperation and collaborationSolid writing and proofreading skills with ability to utilize applicable software to create reports and presentation materialsKnowledge of employment legislationKnowledge of recruitment best practices and candidate interviewing/assessment techniquesAbility to handle confidential information with discretion and integrityCompensation:Therange of expected compensation for this position is $55,000 - $65,000 annually.
