Part Time School Age Educators and Site SupervisorsContract : August 25, 2025 to June 26, 2026Location : LondonCompensation : Starting rates are dependent on region, qualifications, and contract.Members of the College of Early Childhood Educators, Ontario: $26.00 – $27.00 per hour (includes Government Wage Enhancements)Non‑Members: $22.00 per hour (includes Government Wage Enhancements)As part of your total compensationComplimentary YMCA personal membership to our Health & Fitness facilities, with discounts on YMCA child care and camp programsAccess to vacation entitlement per employment standards regulations and up to 3 paid personal days annuallyPart of a caring and supportive network of people to help each other succeedComplimentary access to wellness and counselling servicesConcrete impact in the lives of children and youthScheduleMonday through Friday following the elementary school calendar (September to June)Morning program: 6:45 am – 9:00 am (varies with location)Afternoon program: 2:30 pm – 6:00 pm (varies with location)Possibility of additional full‑day shifts on PD Days/Breaks – various locations and needsRequired to commit to supporting a family of schools within a reasonable proximitySite Supervisors must be available to work both morning and afternoon shiftsIn this role, you will:Plan and deliver a consistent child‑centered program for elementary‑age children,



in accordance with the YMCA curriculumProvide quality compassionate care and support to children and their familiesEnsure supervision and safety of children at all times; understand and comply with provincial (CCEYA), municipal and YMCA policies and proceduresBe committed to diversity, equity, inclusion and building a sense of belongingEmbrace and exemplify the Y’s core valuesEducation & Skills QualificationsExperience working with children 4–12 years in a work or school placement setting is an assetPlanning to enroll, or currently pursuing, a diploma in Early Childhood Education, or pursuing or holding a diploma or a degree in a related field is an assetEarly Childhood Education graduates must be registered (or prove registration is in process) and in positive standing with the College of Early Childhood Educators (CECE)Graduates in a related field must be members of their relevant associations as requiredValid Standard First Aid and CPR Level C certification or date of training scheduled within the next three months (training cost and time are at the applicant’s expense and not reimbursed)Applicants must be a minimum of 18 years of age or older to obtain a current Vulnerable Criminal Reference Check (less than 6 months old)Up‑to‑date immunizations required by Public Health, Ministry of Education and YMCASWOAbility to use frequent light to medium physical effort: lifting up to 20 kg (44 lb.), bending, and stoopingLegally entitled to work in CanadaThe YMCA of Southwestern Ontario is committed to providing a barrier‑free environment for all stakeholders, including members, employees, job applicants, suppliers, and anyone who may enter our premises, access our information, or use our services.
