Forover 15 years, BBA’s Labrador City office has delivered multidisciplinaryengineering services to the region’s mining industry, supported by experts fromacross Canada. AsOffice Director, you’ll build on BBA’s long-standing relationships with clientswhile leading the continued growth of our presence in Labrador West. Workingclosely with the St. John’s office director, you’ll guide office operations,develop the local team and drive business development across the region. Leveragingyour leadership, network and industry knowledge, you’ll help expand BBA’sfootprint in both the mining and metals sectors and emerging renewable energymarkets, supported by significant investment in the region. You’ll alsochampion the diversification of our services by growing environmental, watermanagement and earth sciences capabilities while strengthening relationshipswith local communities, Indigenous partners and regional stakeholders. Thisis an opportunity to lead a talented, multidisciplinary team, contribute to the region’s sustainable development and play a key role in shaping BBA’s futuregrowth in Newfoundland and Labrador. You’llreport to the Vice-President, Québec and Atlantic Operations, and oversee dailyoffice operations while contributing to the firm’s strategic objectives and long-term success. Lead regional business development activities with mining and energy clients Continue to expand on BBA’s long standing partnerships with local mining clients Develop and maintain a strong pipeline of project opportunities in the region Prepare annual office budgets,
implement strategies aligned with the firm’s strategic plan and assess objectives based on KPIs Recruit top talent, develop team expertise and manage performance to ensure exemplary service Maintain rigorous health and safety roles and responsibilities Foster collaboration with other offices, teams and departments, both regionally and nationally Promote innovation and empower employees to develop creative solutions that enhance the organization’s business practices Do your qualities and values match ourcorporate culture?

University degree in engineering or diploma in a relevant program of study At least 10 years of relevant experience, notably within a consulting engineering firm Experience and interest in business development In-depth knowledge of multidisciplinary engineering within the mining industry Experience in engaging and managing multidisciplinary work teams Excellent soft skills and collaborative management skills Experience in organizational development Fluent in English, both written and spoken Asset: knowledge of the mining and metals market Asset: knowledge of the energy market Asset: significant network of contacts in the region An overview of BBA’s total rewards
