As one of the smallest of the Government of Canada’s regional development agencies (less than 120 staff in total), CanNor provides a unique opportunity for individuals looking to be part of a small but mighty organization that leverages its nimbleness to tackle some responsible, high-profile socio-economic issues.Intent of the processThe intent is to staff one (1) position at the PM-04 group and level.A pool of qualified candidates may be established and may be used to staff similar positions at the same group and level within the Canadian Northern Economic Development Agency (CanNor). The pool may be used to staff positions with various linguistic profiles, security requirements, conditions of employment, locations, and tenures, including indeterminate, term, acting, assignment, secondment and deployment.The resulting pool may also be used by other federal organizations to staff similar positions, subject to the approval of the hiring organization.The incumbent and dependents* must obtain Health Canada medical clearance in accordance with the Isolated Posts and Government Housing Directive.*Includes incumbent’s spouse or common-law partner and child(ren).Operational RequirementsOPERATIONAL REQUIREMENTSWillingness and ability to work overtime on short notice.Willingness and ability to on occasion,
