Job Title: Journeyman Plumber Job Description We are seeking skilled journeyman plumbers or 3rd or 4th year apprentice plumbers with strong commercial experience. This role involves working on various commercial projects, primarily in the north of Calgary and Balzac. Responsibilities Perform above slab installations, including TBC and copper water lines. Install hydronic heating and cooling systems. Manage installation of plastic, storm sewers, sanitary sewers, and gas lines. Build mechanical rooms and install equipment for plumbing and hydronic systems. Lead an apprentice and work independently on projects. Essential Skills Journeyman Plumber certification or equivalent experience. Experience with commercial new construction (warehouses, office buildings, retail stores, commercial high-rise). Blueprint reading and interpretation. Ability to lead projects and manage apprentices. Must have a vehicle to access work sites. Additional Skills & Qualifications Ticketed Plumber certification. Fall Protection and AWP certifications (copies required with resume). Customer service skills. Foreman or lead experience in a commercial setting. Work Environment The workday starts at 6:45am for paperwork and setup, with tasks starting at 7am. Standard hours are Monday to Thursday, 9-hour days, and Friday is an 8-hour day. Candidates must wear PPE including steel toe boots, hard hats, gloves, glasses, and vests. Tools like a cordless Sawzall are required. Training with the current foreman will be provided for a month. Projects include sites throughout Calgary with a focus on hands-on, start-to-finish work. Job Type & Location This is a Contract position based out of Balzac, AB. Pay and Benefits The pay range for this position is $40.00 - $44.00/hr. Individual compensation offered for this position within this range will depend on many factors,



including qualifications, skills, relevant experience, job knowledge, geographic location, internal equity, and other pertinent job-related factors.
