As a Temporary Full time Registered Practical Nurse, you will work with the Registered Nurse to ensure proper implementation of AgeCare policies. This includes liaising with physicians and other healthcare professionals, managing resident care needs, and guiding Personal Support Workers. Your expertise in geriatric or long-term care nursing will be vital in making a positive impact on residents’ lives.
Key Responsibilities:
• Provide nursing care according to established guidelines
• Collaborate with healthcare team for optimal resident care
• Communicate significant changes in resident status
• Direct and support Personal Support Workers
• Participate in shift reports for continuity of care
Requirements:
• Current Certificate of Competence from College of Nurses
