BMO’s Mergers & Acquisitions (M&A) group is a specialized team within BMO Capital Markets that advises clients on a broad range of strategic transactions, including mergers, acquisitions, divestitures, strategic investments, and other complex transactions. Working closely with industry coverage teams and other product groups, the team provides strategic advice and transaction execution support to clients across sectors and geographies. An analyst on this team will work within a highly skilled and cooperative environment to develop and deliver creative and actionable capital markets solutions to prospective and existing clients. Key responsibilities Supporting deal teams in developing client relationships and the origination and execution of mandates.



Researching and analyzing company and industry financial and operating information. Developing an understanding of client needs and outcomes. Performing complex financial modeling and valuation analyses as part of client and industry evaluations.
