The Opportunity:Located in South Edmonton, be part of an accomplished team committed to delivering best-in-class service and technical expertise in a busy shop specializing in Allison transmission, engine repairs and overhauls.The Role:Heavy Equipment Technicians work Monday to Friday with occasional overtime opportunities. Your expertise will be key in ensuring first-time-right diagnostics and repair of, but not limited to:Allison transmissionsDetroit and MTU Truck and Industrial enginesEducation:Journeyman Red Seal Heavy Duty Technician.Work Experience:2-3 years relevant experienceKnowledge & Skills:Safety focusedStrong written and verbal communication skillsKeep your work areas, benches, and toolboxes clean and organizedProven ability to work with customers, demonstrating exceptional customer serviceMechanical aptitude with strong analytical and problem-solving skillsExperience with on-highway truck/coach maintenance and repair are assetsCoordinating with supervisors, administration, and workers, for the purpose of completing all work orders efficiently and effectivelyWork under limited supervision, leading, guiding and working with others, as requiredFill out required paperwork. This would include forms such as work orders, hazard assessment sheets, daily time sheets, and repair listsTest, troubleshoot, diagnose, adjust,
