Sara is looking for a reliable, energetic Server Assistant to join our front-of-house team. This role is an integral part of the guest experience, working closely with Servers and the management team to ensure smooth, efficient service throughout the evening.The ideal candidate is attentive, proactive, and comfortable working in a fast-paced restaurant environment. and fully stockedDeliver water and assist with food and beverage service as requiredClear plates, glassware, and cutlery efficiently and discreetly throughout serviceMonitor tables and anticipate guest and Server needsAssist with polishing and organizing glassware, cutlery, and service equipmentRestock service stations and supplies before, during, and after serviceCommunicate effectively with Servers, Bartenders, Hosts, kitchen staff, and managementAssist with opening and closing dutiesMaintain a clean, professional, and organized dining roomFollow all food safety, health and safety, and restaurant policies and proceduresPerform other service-related duties as requiredQualificationsPrevious experience in a restaurant, hospitality, or guest-service environment is preferredExperience in a high-volume or upscale restaurant environment is an assetStrong sense of urgency and attention to detailAbility to anticipate needs and work proactively without constant directionStrong communication and teamwork skillsProfessional, positive, and guest-focused approachAbility to remain organized and composed during busy service periodsAbility to stand and move for the duration of the shift and safely carry trays, plates, and service itemsAvailability to work 3–4 shifts per week from Wednesday through SundayValid Smart Serve certification is an asset
