We are currently looking to fill exciting casual positions as a Certified Dental Assistant in Burnaby and Langley, BC.

As part of the Public Health Team and reporting to the Coordinator, Dental Health Services the Certified Dental Assistant in a regional role delivers preventive dental programs to the community by performing duties such as conducting cursory dental screenings of children, delivering community programs including dental health lessons/demonstrations, providing follow up with parents, school personnel, community services and other health professionals, and performing intra-oral procedures. Completes regional/provincial documentation as required. Coordinates patients and bus transportation arrangements for the Pediatric Program at the Faculty of Dentistry, University of British Columbia as required. Performs various administrative duties such as preparing reports, monitoring supply and equipment inventories, developing educational material, maintaining related records, and participating in program meetings and quality improvement.
Grade 12. Successful completion of a recognized Certified Dental Assistant Program and 1 years recent related experience. Registered and licensed with the College of Dental Surgeons of British Columbia. Valid BC Drivers License and access to a vehicle for work purposes.
