Dental office in Toronto at Danforth/Woodbine is looking for an experienced Dental Assistant.

POSITION/JOB REQUIREMENTS:

• Experienced Dental Assistant
• Must have minimum of 2-3 yearsof experience
• Abeldent knowledge/experience an asset
• Valuable command of the English Language

LOCATION:

Toronto @ Danforth/Woodbine (Free Parking on side street)

HOURS:

• Tues , Wed (9:45-5/6)
• Thurs (9-7)

COMPENSATION:

• $25-$28 depending on experience and performance

JOB OVERVIEW:

• Assisting dentist during dental procedures that features handing instruments and other materials
• Sterilizing instruments
• Assisting dentist with crowns, bridges,porcelainveneers, dental implants, invisalign, teeth whitening,
  
  
  
  fillings,extractionsandmouthguards
• Placement and removal of rubber dams
• Taking x-rays of patients teethand exposing dental diagnostic x-rays
• Using suction and swabs to keeppatients mouths clear and dry during procedures
• Taking preliminary impressions of teeth for study models
• Applying pit and fissure sealants and topical anesthetics
• Questioning patients about their medical history and recording theinformation for dentists reference
• Advising patients on dental care, oralhygiene and plaque control programs
• Making patients of all ages feel comfortable before,during and after dental treatment
