Ndinawemaaganag Endaawaad Inc. is hiring a Youth Support Worker to champion the needs of Indigenous youth. Offering mentorship and support, this full-time role includes overnight shifts.In this impactful position, you will engage with young people, helping them navigate challenges through trauma-informed care and mentoring. Your responsibilities will include providing a secure environment, collaborating with colleagues, and ensuring all necessary documentation is maintained accurately.Key Responsibilities:Supervise and engage with youth effectivelyProvide mentorship and support for independent livingAdvocate for youth by offering resources and referralsMaintain a clean and safe working environmentDocument all interactions and incidents accuratelyRequirements:Education in Child and Youth Care or related fieldExperience with Indigenous communitiesUnderstanding of trauma-informed approachesStrong problem-solving and communication skillsValid Class 5 Driver's License and CPR/First Aid certifiedChampion the well-being of urban Indigenous youth at Ndinawemaaganag, making a difference through support and empowerment.
