I work on two types of recruitment: temporary and permanent roles on Montreal’s South Shore. Our team of finance experts speaks your language and operates within your industry. I am looking for an Accounting Technician for my client, a company in the manufacturing sector. This is a permanent role based in Boucherville.

Mission

- Reports to the Finance Department
- Manufacturing environment
- Participation in daily accounting operations and monthly closings
- Preparation of financial statements and financial reports
- Accounting entries and adjusting entries
- Bank reconciliations and general ledger reconciliations
- Analysis of variances and monitoring of balance sheet and income statement accounts
- GST/QST returns and government remittances
- Tracking of fixed assets and depreciation




- Assistance with monitoring manufacturing costs and cost of goods sold
- Inventory reconciliation and analysis
- Participation in physical inventory counts
- Preparation of external audit files and supporting documentation
- Participation in improving internal controls and accounting processes
- Collaboration with operational teams: purchasing, production, procurement, and shipping
- Participation in optimizing ERP tools and systems

Your profile

- DEC/AEC in accounting, business administration, or equivalent education
- Experience in an accounting firm and/or manufacturing environment
- Proficiency with an ERP system
- Very strong proficiency in Excel
- Fluent in French
- Functional to advanced English, approximately 7/10
- Attention to detail, independence, and solid organizational skills
- Strong financial analysis skills
- Team player with strong communication skills
- Proactive, solution-oriented, and committed to continuous improvement
