Job Summary

Job Summary : To assist residentswith daily routines and activities of daily living, including recreationalsupport. The role does not include the provision of personal care to theresidents.

Qualifications:

• Grade Twelve (12) required or equivalent.
• Preference for experience or education in recreation or healthcare
• Previous experience in a long-term care facility, senior home, or grouphome will be considered an asset
• Good interpersonal skills
• Demonstrated ability to attend work on a regular and consistent basis.
• Good oral and written communication skills
• Ability to work shift work
• Must have sound interpersaonl, problem-solving, and organizationalskills
• Compassion, integrity, maturity, respect and a positive attitude areessential attributes
• Must provide a clear Criminal Record Check and transparent Vulnerable SectorCheck.

SalaryRange: In accordance with current collectiveagreement between Ocean View Continuing Care Centre and CUPE Local 1245.

Rotation: Weekends / Days / Evenings / Holidays; May bechanged as necessary to meet the operational requirements of the facility.
