Senior Staff Accountant Public Accounting Full-Time | Toronto, ON Salary Range $80,000 to $100,000 About the Opportunity Our client is a well established, mid sized public accounting firm based in Toronto, known for its strong client relationships, collaborative team culture, and commitment to professional development. The firm provides assurance, accounting, and tax services to a diverse portfolio of owner managed and private enterprise clients. This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced public accounting professional who is looking to continue developing technically while working closely with partners and clients in a supportive, in office environment. The Role As a Senior Staff Accountant, you will play a key role within the firm’s accounting and assurance practice. You will manage files from planning through completion, work directly with clients, and support the development of junior team members. The role offers a balanced mix of audit, review, compilation, and tax work. Key Responsibilities Prepare and review compilation, review, and audit engagements for owner managed businesses Prepare corporate and personal tax returns including T2s and T1s Assist with basic tax planning matters such as salary versus dividend considerations Prepare and file information returns including T4s, T5s,



and T3s Maintain complete and accurate working papers in accordance with qualified standards Use CaseWare, CaseView, and QuickBooks on a regular basis Participate in engagement planning, risk assessment, and audit execution Communicate directly with clients and participate in year end meetings Support and mentor junior staff while contributing to a collaborative team environment What You Bring CPA designation completed or in progress Minimum three years of experience in public accounting Strong experience across audit, review, and compilation engagements Solid exposure to corporate and personal tax compliance Proficiency with CaseWare, CaseView, and common tax software Strong communication skills and confidence working directly with clients Excellent time management, attention to detail, and organizational skills Compensation and Advantages Competitive salary ranging from 80,000 to 100,000 depending on experience Supportive and collaborative in office environment Direct exposure to partners and senior leadership Clear opportunities for long term growth within the firm Casual and professional workplace culture If you are looking to continue building your career in public accounting within a stable and people focused firm, we would be happy to connect and share more details. #J-18808-Ljbffr
