The Engineer identifies, designs and implements energy infrastructure solutions for institutional, industrial and commercial clients through the technical and project management service delivery, while participating in activities to develop, grow and market the business.MAJOR RESPONSIBILITIESPlan, design and execute system projects in collaboration with a multi-disciplinary team of internal and external stakeholdersFully prepare and execute design conceptsCollaborate with clients and designers regarding specifications,



reports, code application, submittal review, equipment selection, deliverables, and drawingsProduce all documentation including design development information and schematics as well as tender and construction documents to fulfill project requirementsPrepare and deliver proposals, technical reports, and feasibility studiesProvide project management services throughout the life of projects from design to construction completion including:Liaising with client to determine needs of the project and create a project planManaging sub-consultants and contractors on field sitesCreating and monitoring project scheduleImplementing a quality management planEnsuring a project is constructed as per design, quality, budget, and scheduleReporting on project progress to stakeholdersNegotiating revisions to scope of work, enforcing the contract/design documents, and resolving disputesConstruction Document Control that includes but not limited to Health & Safety, Shop Drawings, RFIs, CCOs, etc.Quality Assurance Quality Control (QAQC) that includes but is not limited to design layout verification, prepour inspection, etc.Thorough knowledge of Ontario Construction Act & roles and responsibilities of relevant parties that includes but not limited to being a Constructor, Employer, Employee, Owner, etc.Fulfill day to day responsibilities of a Constructor.Develop technical engineering plans and standardsAnalyze data,



information and standards to prepare detailed designs and reportsManage programs and lead special projects as requiredDeliver services to meet financial targets and objectivesDevelop industry relationships to support growth of business to promote and increase awareness of the Envari brand in the marketplacePerform other related duties as requiredEDUCATION AND EXPERIENCEProfessional Engineer, licensed or able to be licensed in the province of OntarioPost-secondary education in electrical engineering or related discipline from an accredited universityExperience in business development, proposal and work plan preparationExperience managing construction projects, coordinating with trades and consultants, and ensuring projects are delivered on time and on budgetExperience as Health & Safety Lead and/or ConstructorStrong computer skills; proficient in the use of MS Office suite of productsExperience designing and implementing multi disciplinary systems considered an assetElectrical infrastructure or utility experience considered an assetProject Management Professional (PMP) certification considered an assetEnglish essential, both oral and written; Bilingual (English/French) considered an assetADDITIONAL REQUIREMENTSValid driver’s license – Class GThis is a management group opportunity and salary will be commensurate with qualifications.Envari offers a Hybrid Work Model. The annual salary range for this position identified below depends on experience, education, and professional designation.
