Contribute to student safety as a Monitor at Bertha Shaw Public School, overseeing students during breaks and transitions. This part time role requires vigilance, communication, and support of school safety protocols.
This position is essential for maintaining order and student safety during nutrition breaks, recess, and arrival/departure times. We're looking for individuals who possess a Grade 12 diploma and demonstrate solid communication skills, dependability, and a genuine concern for student safety. Monitors will work closely with school staff while addressing disciplinary issues as necessary.
Key Responsibilities:
• Supervise students during arrival and departure
• Organize student movements in an orderly manner




• Monitor outdoor yard duty during recess
• Ensure classroom and bathroom safety checks
• Address disciplinary issues and report to administrators
Requirements:
• Grade 12 diploma or equivalent education
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to work independently and as a team
• Willingly handle disciplinary matters
• Physically able to monitor all weather conditions
