As a Principal Consultant, you will guide clients in Eastern Canada through complex regulatory landscapes for major capital projects. Utilizing your deep regulatory experience in Ontario and/or Québec, you will directly advise clients and help them achieve project milestones, including permission pathways and Indigenous expectations. This role offers the chance to work alongside ERM’s diverse team of technical experts and contribute to crucial sectors such as mining, energy, and infrastructure.
Key Responsibilities:
• Define and lead impact assessment and permitting strategies
• Provide explicit advice on regulatory pathways to clients
• Plan and execute impact assessment applications and permits
• Direct integrated teams to deliver high-quality submissions
• Contribute to account growth and proposal development
Requirements:
• Bachelor’s degree in related field
• 6+ years in impact assessment or regulatory permitting
• Knowledge of federal and provincial frameworks in Ontario and Québec
• Ability to advise executive-level clients
• Valid driver’s license for travel
