Lead the technology vision at Brodie League as the VP of Engineering in Toronto, ON. Oversee infrastructure and product development while ensuring an exceptional athlete experience every week.

In this full-time, on-site role, you’ll head a dynamic technology group responsible for the Brodie app, used by over 50,000 athletes. Your key responsibilities include assessing the current tech landscape, enhancing security, and spearheading hands-on engineering initiatives. With a focus on product management, you’ll collaborate directly with the CEO and executive team to develop a clear technology roadmap.

Key Responsibilities:
• Assess existing infrastructure and codebase within 90 days
• Lead hands-on engineering efforts, writing code and reviewing pull requests




• Set product development priorities with executive leadership
• Build reliable and secure technology for athlete engagement
• Represent technology on the executive leadership team

Requirements:
• 10+ years in software engineering, with 5+ years in leadership
• Robust background in application and cloud security
• Hands-on coding experience in mobile and backend services
• Proven track record of team building and scaling
• Excellent communicator for non-technical stakeholders
