## Senior Systems & Cloud EngineerPosted: 10/02/2026Employment Type:ContractJob Number: 9523## Job Description**Senior Systems & Cloud Engineer**We are seeking a **Senior Systems & Cloud Engineer** to design, implement, and support enterprise server, identity, and cloud infrastructure. This is a hands-on role focused on building secure, scalable, and reliable infrastructure while supporting the transition of infrastructure operations from a managed service provider to an internal team.**Key Responsibilities*** Design, build, and manage **Windows Server, Active Directory, Entra ID, PKI, virtualization, storage, and backup** environments.* Design and manage **Microsoft Azure infrastructure**, including IaaS, landing zones, governance, security, and cost management.* Administer **Microsoft SQL Server**, including security, backup/recovery, patching, performance, and high availability.* Lead infrastructure audits, gap assessments, lifecycle planning, and architecture standards.* Manage **server patching, vulnerability management, monitoring, disaster recovery, and restore testing**.* Support infrastructure integration across IT and operational environments,



including remote sites and occasional travel.* Lead the transition of infrastructure operations from a managed service provider to an internal infrastructure team.* Maintain infrastructure documentation, runbooks, recovery procedures, and technical standards.* Collaborate with network and security teams to implement infrastructure, security, and identity controls.**Qualifications*** **7+ years** of experience in systems and cloud infrastructure engineering.* Solid hands-on experience with **Windows Server, Active Directory, Entra ID, PKI, SQL Server, VMware/Hyper-V, storage, and backup/recovery**.* Strong experience designing and managing **Microsoft Azure infrastructure**.* Proficiency with **PowerShell**;experience with **Terraform or Bicep** is an asset.* Experience with infrastructure security, governance, and hybrid IT environments.* Strong troubleshooting, documentation, and problem-solving skills.* Relevant post-secondary education or equivalent professional experience.* Microsoft Azure certifications such as **AZ-104 or AZ-305** are an asset.* Experience with infrastructure modernization, enterprise environments, or managed-service transitions is an asset.### Apply Now:-### Share This Job:to save this search and get notified of similar positions.
