ContentJet requires a fractional CTO to own the end-to-end technology strategy for a fast-growing creative production and paid social agency. The role covers architecture decisions, software and product development oversight, vendor management, and technology budgeting, with a solid emphasis on building scalable systems that support high-volume content production and data-driven marketing operations.
The CTO will work closely with leadership, operations, and client-facing teams to ensure technology initiatives improve performance, security, and reliability. Experience in ad tech or martech environments is highly regarded, as is the ability to communicate technical direction clearly to non-technical stakeholders across a globally distributed team.
Define and execute ContentJet's technology vision, architecture standards, and IT strategy in alignment with business goals
Guide software and product development teams across the full development lifecycle
Design and oversee scalable, secure systems supporting creative production workflows and global operations




Manage technology vendors, budgets, and third-party platform integrations
Evaluate emerging tools and platforms relevant to paid social and creative performance
Collaborate with leadership and client-facing teams to ensure technical initiatives enhance reliability and performance
Proven background in software development and product development, with experience scaling digital platforms
Expertise in IT strategy and architecture, including secure and high-performance system design
Experience in ad tech, martech, or data-driven creative and marketing environments
Knowledge of cloud infrastructure, APIs, data security, and integration with advertising and analytics platforms
Demonstrated senior technical leadership in fast-paced, remote, and globally distributed teams
Strong project management skills with the ability to lead cross-functional initiatives from concept to delivery
