Become a Community Aide with SLFNHA in Mishkeegogamang, where you'll support essential health services within a vibrant community hub. This full time role is focused on managing administrative duties and client care.
As a Community Assistant, you will work directly with the Developmental Services team, coordinating airport pickups, facility maintenance, and client bookings. A solid preference is given to First Nations individuals to cultivate effective community relations in health care delivery.
Key Responsibilities:
Arrange airport pickups and drop-offs for staff
Manage health hub bookings and key activities
Conduct cleaning and maintain facilities
Oversee ordering and supply management via SLFNHA
Document client therapy progress and referrals
Requirements:
Minimum one year of relevant experience in health services
Ability to communicate in local First Nations dialects beneficial
Organizational skills and attention to detail are essential
Competence in MS Word, Excel, and Adobe Acrobat required
Hold a valid G Driver's License
Drive community health initiatives and engage with clients in a culturally competent workplace.
