In this essential cooking role, you'll be responsible for preparing and plating meals under the guidance of the Dining Services Manager. Ideal candidates will have two years of experience in large-volume food preparation and a Certified Red Seal certificate.

You will ensure compliance with sanitation regulations and assist in training staff while maintaining a clean kitchen setting.

Key Responsibilities:
Prepare and plate meals adhering to sanitation standards
Assist in training kitchen staff for food preparation
Manage inventory of ingredients and receive orders
Perform food temperature checks and maintain records
Communicate effectively with team members and residents

Requirements:
Minimum of grade 12 education
At least 2 years’ large volume cooking experience
Certified Red Seal certificate required
Familiarity with computerized ordering systems
Ability to work in a rapid-paced kitchen setting
