The Town of Ajax is seeking two Crossing Guard Rovers to oversee school crossings. In this essential role, you will mentor assigned guards, ensuring effective coverage during absences. Rovers play a crucial role in facilitating safe crossings and addressing any traffic-related emergencies with calm and valuable judgment.

Key Responsibilities:
• Supervise pedestrian movement across roadways
• Monitor vehicle and pedestrian traffic at designated crossings
• Mentor Crossing Guards by modeling crossing techniques
• Respond to emergencies involving pedestrians and vehicles
• Report safety issues to your supervisor

Requirements:
• Previous Crossing Guard experience preferred
• Valid Class "G" Ontario Driver's License
• Ability to work in various weather conditions
• Strong communication and relationship-building skills
• Successfully complete a Vulnerable Sector Screening Check
