J.S. Held is seeking an Intermediate Forensics Mechanical Engineer to join its dynamic team. This position is ideal for candidates with a strong mechanical engineering background who can manage various tasks, including loss analysis and code compliance. You’ll apply your skills in forensic analysis and technical assessments to ensure high standards in engineering practices.

Key Responsibilities:
• Conduct field inspections and loss analysis
• Prepare detailed technical reports on damage causes
• Perform assessments to develop repair scopes




• Review building codes and collaborate with officials
• Present findings to clients and colleagues

Requirements:
• Bachelor’s in Mechanical Engineering; Master’s is a plus
• P.Eng registration in Canada
• 3-8 years of relevant mechanical design experience
• Forensic analysis or troubleshooting expertise
• Solid analytical and problem-solving skills
