Our client is seeking a proactive and experienced Hygiene and Sanitation Manager to lead their team in East London . You will be responsible for developing, implementing, and monitoring comprehensive sanitation programs, managing resources efficiently, and ensuring compliance with all regulatory requirements. Key Responsibilities Develop, implement, and manage company-wide hygiene and sanitation policies and procedures.
Oversee and direct the activities of the sanitation team, ensuring adherence to standards.
Conduct regular audits and inspections to identify and address potential hygiene risks and non-compliance issues.
Manage the procurement, inventory, and safe storage of all cleaning supplies, chemicals, and equipment.
Train staff on best practices in hygiene, sanitation,



and the safe use of materials and equipment.
Stay current with all relevant health, safety, and environmental regulations and ensure full compliance.
Requirements Minimum of 4 years of experience in hygiene and sanitation management, preferably in a similar industry.
In-depth knowledge of sanitation principles, cleaning chemicals, equipment operation, and regulatory compliance.
Strong leadership, team management, and communication skills.
Proven ability to develop and implement effective sanitation programs and training.
Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to manage multiple priorities.
Certification in relevant health and safety programs is a significant advantage.
