Empower residents at Lookout Housing and Health Society as a Clinical Support Worker on weekends. This role involves essential support and skill training to foster independence and stability.
As a Clinical Support Worker, you will report to the Site Manager and align with Lookout’s mission. Your work will involve assisting residents in their daily lives, developing service plans, and ensuring their needs are met. Robust communication skills and experience in mental health or addiction services will be essential for this role.
Key Responsibilities:
• Participate in resident intake and assessment services
• Develop service plans and crisis intervention strategies
• Maintain statistical and evaluative data and complete paperwork
• Assist with volunteer and practicum student coordination
• Ensure compliance with health and safety programs
Requirements:
• Diploma or certificate in related field or Grade 12 plus 2 years experience
• Current First Aid Certificate (OFA 1)
• Strong communication and organizational skills
• Minimum two years of sobriety required
• Criminal Record Clearance for vulnerable sector
