Position Overview
As a Territory Sales Manager , you will drive growth and maintain an established portfolio of accounts across several key verticals, including Multi-Family (Apartments), Healthcare (Senior Living facilities), and Institutional venues. You will act as a sales consultant, focusing on Maintenance, Repair, and Operations (MRO) sales while identifying emerging market opportunities.

This role requires consistent day travel within the assigned territory (over 20% of the work week) to meet with customers in person.

Key Responsibilities

Sales Growth: Profitably grow sales to achieve yearly goals by prospecting new accounts and retaining existing ones.

Relationship Management: Develop and sustain deep relationships with key decision-makers and influencers at all levels of an organization.

Market Expansion: Win and onboard net-new clients while successfully expanding the current customer base.

Strategic Planning: Develop and implement plans to increase business presence in the assigned area.

Collaboration: Share market and competitor intelligence with internal teams and establish solid working partnerships.

Engagement: Attend monthly meetings for company-sponsored associations and participate in local, regional, and national trade shows as required.

Data Integrity: Use data analysis techniques to resolve missing or incomplete information and address inconsistencies in research data.

Preferred Qualifications

Experience:



Proven track record in a "Hunter" type sales role with experience in business-to-business (B2B) and consultative/solution selling.

Product Knowledge: Prior knowledge of the AMRE Supply product line is highly preferred.

Traits: Self-motivated, eager, and results-driven individual.

Soft Skills: Excellent communication, organization, and planning skills.

Account Development: Demonstrated ability to build business within existing accounts and ensure high-quality service.

Nature of Work & Environment

Independence: This role requires a high degree of independence; you will receive guidance only on unusual or complex problems.

Travel: Requires the operation of a personal vehicle for more than 20% of the average work week.

Accountability: Work is subject to periodic review by supervisors and direct customers of the process.
