Become the key support for the Chair in the Department of Art History at the University of Toronto. This role focuses on academic coordination, scheduling, and communications in a vibrant academic setting.
As the Assistant to the Chair, you will play a vital leadership role at the Faculty of Arts & Science. Your responsibilities will include coordinating academic processes, general administrative support, and logistical operations for departmental events. Engage with various stakeholders while enhancing the department’s communication channels and social media presence.
Key Responsibilities:
• Coordinate meeting schedules, agendas, and follow-up items
• Administer tenure and promotion activities systematically
• Collect documentation for reviews and promotions
• Organize logistical details for events and programming
• Maintain department’s digital platforms and website
Requirements:
• Advanced College Diploma or equivalent experience
• Minimum three years' relevant administrative experience
• Familiar with academic procedures and policies
• Proficient in O365 and digital platforms
• Experienced in travel logistics and event support
