The Role: The Logistics Coordinator is responsible for the critical aspects of projects including the coordination of shipping and receiving of purchased materials and components.
Key Responsibilities: Owning the Shipping & Receiving process




Coordinate shipments with customers and carriers
Receive customer-supplied products and verify against customer requirements
Performing incoming inspection on purchased product
Purchasing materials, supplies and transportation services
Coordinating the inventory of stock material for cold bending, and assisting with the inventory of stock material for induction bending
Assisting with the coordination of preventive maintenance records
Working in accordance with documented policies and procedures
Completing all applicable quality records
Ensuring shipments are packaged according to customer requirements
Maintaining daily shipping log
Maintaining inventory of shop supplies
Working in accordance with the quality management system
What You Bring: Purchasing, receiving, shipping, inspection and testing, traceability, nonconformances, corrective and preventive action, document control, record control, purchasing.
Strong verbal and written communication skills including the ability to communicate effectively, tactfully, and persuasively
Ability to project and maintain a professional corporate image to clients, vendors and fellow employees
Self-starter, with the ability to work efficiently in a team or matrix setting
Ability to multi-task and prioritize effectively
Detail-oriented, analytical, with good organizational, presentation and facilitation skills
3-5 years’ experience in a similar position
Bending processes, materials knowledge, shop procedures
Prior experience with MS Word/Excel
