Pinchin is looking for a dedicated Indigenous Relations Leader to enhance our Mining & Natural Resources practice. This senior-level position involves fostering relationships with Indigenous Nations and organizations while collaborating with various teams. You will be pivotal in integrating Indigenous engagement strategies into our business development and operational plans, promoting long-term benefits for both clients and communities.
Key Responsibilities:
• Build robust relationships with Indigenous leaders and communities
• Represent Pinchin at meetings and cultural gatherings
• Guide teams on engagement planning and cultural awareness
• Support mining initiatives and Indigenous participation plans
• Maintain accurate records of engagement activities
Requirements:
• Education in Indigenous studies, community development, or related fields
• Experience with Indigenous communities and organizations
• Knowledge of Indigenous rights and contemporary issues
• Strong communication and stakeholder engagement skills
• Ability to travel throughout Western and Northern Canada
