As a Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN), you will report to the Director of Care, leading a team to coordinate care delivery for residents. Your duties include assessing needs, implementing care plans, and ensuring holistic wellness philosophies. You'll communicate with healthcare professionals and families, ensuring quality care is delivered across the community.
Key Responsibilities:
• Assess residents’ needs and implement care plans
• Administer prescribed medications and treatments
• Liaise with healthcare professionals to coordinate care
• Document changes in residents' health records
• Support recent staff orientation and education
Requirements:
• Current LPN license with BCCNM
• Occupational First Aid Level 1 certification
• Previous long-term care experience preferred
• Proficient in English, both spoken and written
• Ability to lift and carry up to 25 lbs
