Our Business Technology Services team enables ENMAX Power with solution delivery and ongoing operational support centered around software applications, integrations and reporting. Along with the team, the Software Developer Co-op Student will develop and support technical solutions that can transform both customer and user experience to enhance our stakeholders' digital journey.
Major Responsibilities: Hands-on development work on various custom applications such as web portals, integration solutions, reports and dashboards
Perform application support tasks such as analyzing, troubleshooting and resolving incidents
Participate in scrums, design sessions and release deployments
Work with stakeholders to deliver product enhancements
In conjunction with the team's leadership, define and prioritize system enhancements, identify gaps and recommend platform investments that will deliver on KPIs
Make recommendations to improve the user experience and support operational excellence
Support other digital projects as required
Education Required: Currently enrolled in a Post-Secondary Information Technology related program (from 1st year to 4th year)
Must be eligible to work in Canada
Qualifications & Experience: Familiar with C# .Net and jQuery
Familiarity with Microsoft products is key such as Office, Teams and SharePoint,




Able to work and follow Agile and DevOps methodologies.
Quick to learn recent technologies on your own and aren't intimidated by new technologies
Customer service skills and the ability to communicate in person, over video conference, chat, and email
Ability to clearly document and update tasks & procedures

Communicates clearly, listens effectively, and is open to feedback
Acts with integrity and takes accountability for their actions
Uses good judgement, asks questions when needed, and learns from experience

Salary: Co-Op IS, Computer Science (CUPE 2026 rates) $24.82 - $26.33 - $29.40 - $31.58

This role will be part of our hybrid (home and office) workforce with office workspace located at ENMAX Place (141 - 50th Avenue SE, Calgary, AB). You will work from home on Mondays and Fridays and in the office on Tuesdays, Wednesdays, and Thursdays.
