About the Role Our client is looking for an enthusiastic and dedicated Community Sports Facilitator to deliver engaging sports programs for youth and adults in the East London area. This role focuses on promoting physical activity, teamwork, and healthy lifestyles through a variety of sports and recreational activities. You will be responsible for organizing and leading sessions, ensuring a safe and inclusive environment, and encouraging community participation. The ideal candidate has a passion for sports, experience working with diverse groups, and a commitment to enhancing community well-being through sport in East London.
Key Responsibilities Plan, organize, and facilitate sports and recreational activities for various age groups.
Ensure a safe, inclusive, and fun environment for all participants.
Promote community involvement and encourage regular participation in sports programs.
Work with community leaders and organizations to identify needs and deliver relevant activities.




Manage sports equipment and ensure its proper use and maintenance.
Provide basic instruction and guidance on sports skills and rules.
Requirements Experience in coaching, facilitating, or organizing sports activities.
Robust communication and interpersonal skills for engaging with diverse community members.
Knowledge of various sports and recreational activities.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
First Aid or CPR certification is an asset.
Enthusiasm for community development and sports in East London.
